The Carolina Hurricanes have reclaimed Harold Druken form the Maple Leafs.
The Leafs attempted to assign him to St. John's on Wednesday, but the forward had to be placed of waivers before that could happen.
Carolina originally lost Druken in an attempt to send him to their AHL affiliate, the Lowell Lock Monsters. The team can send him directly to Lowell without risk of losing him again.
Druken appeared in five of the 16 games the Maple Leafs played while he was in Toronto and managed a pair of assists and nearly 13 minutes of ice time per game.
