Maple Leafs Announce Training Camp Rosters

"(Sept. 1, 2003)-- John Ferguson, general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday the rosters for the NHL Challenge in Sweden/Finland and training camp in Kitchener, Ontario.
Captain Mats Sundin highlights the 34-man roster that will participate in the NHL Challenge in Europe. Sundin will return to his homeland to face his former club Djurgarden in one of three preseason games that the Maple Leafs will play against Swedish and Finnish clubs. It also marks the first time the club will hold training camp outside of North America. The players travelling to Europe will report to Air Canada Centre for medicals on September 10. The team's first on-ice workout will take place at Hovet Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on September 11.
