Tie Domi Spreads Holiday Cheer

(Dec. 8, 2003) -- Sharing in the spirit of the season, Tie and Leanne Domi will be ensuring that youth who stay in hostels enjoy their Christmas.

Tie's ready to spread some Christmas cheer.


For the seventh straight year, Domi will make a generous contribution of more than 4,000 new toys to the Santa on Wheels Program. Domi spearheads this holiday donation, valued at more than $100,000, with support from Professional Auctioneers Inc.

Tie and Leanne will invite children who use Toronto hostels to the Leafs practice Tuesday, December 9 at Air Canada Centre for some pre-Christmas fun. Following practice, the children will have an opportunity to meet Domi, as well as receive a special holiday gift.

The Santa on Wheels Program is a city initiative that collects and distributes new toys for children and families who spend the holiday season in Toronto hostels.
