The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that they have recalled goaltender Mikael Tellqvist from St. John's of the American Hockey League.
Tellqvist, 24, has played in 18 games for St. John's this season, posting totals of seven wins, 10 losses and one tie with a goals against average of 2.83 and a .913 save percentage.
Tellqvist has appeared in five games for Toronto this season and has a record of two wins, no losses and two ties with a 2.51 goals against average. He was previously recalled by Toronto February 3-6 but saw no action.
