The Maple Leafs stormed back from a three goal deficit in the third period to beat the Buffalo Sabres in overtime. Tomas Kaberle collected two points (one goal, one assist) including the game winning goal in overtime. Mats Sundin and Owen Nolan each scored two goals, while Brian Leetch and Alexander Mogilny each registered three assists. Trevor Kidd started in goal for Toronto and made 23 saves to register the victory.
