Brian Leetch
collected three points (two goals, one assist) including the game winning goal to lead the Maple Leafs to victory over the Flyers. Gary Roberts scored the other Toronto goal while the Maple Leafs were shorthanded. Ed Belfour started in goal and made 26 saves to register the victory.

MARCH 16 - BOSTON 2 at TORONTO 1
Travis Green scored both Boston goals as the Bruins slipped by the Maple Leafs with a 2-1 win. Joe Nieuwendyk scored the lone Toronto goal assisted by Bryan McCabe and Bryan Leetch. Ed Belfour started in goal for Toronto and made 27 saves.

MARCH 15 - TORONTO 6 at BUFFALO 5 (OT)
The Maple Leafs stormed back from a three goal deficit in the third period to beat the Buffalo Sabres in overtime. Tomas Kaberle collected two points (one goal, one assist) including the game winning goal in overtime. Mats Sundin and Owen Nolan each scored two goals, while Brian Leetch and Alexander Mogilny each registered three assists. Trevor Kidd started in goal for Toronto and made 23 saves to register the victory.
