GAME SIX - TORONTO 1 at OTTAWA 2 (2OT)
Mike Fisher scored early in double overtime for Ottawa to force a seventh game in Toronto Tuesday night. Bryan McCabe scored the lone Leafs goal assisted by Brian Leetch and Gary Roberts. Ed Belfour started in goal for Toronto and stopped 44 of 46 Ottawa shots.

GAME FIVE - OTTAWA 0 at TORONTO 2
Ed Belfour stopped all 21 shots to register his third shutout of the playoffs and lead the Maple Leafs to victory at Air Canada Centre. Tie Domi scored the game winning goal unassisted early in the third period, while Joe Nieuwendyk added an insurance marker from Tomas Kaberle and Alexei Ponikarovsky with under five minutes remaining in the game.

GAME FOUR - TORONTO 1 at OTTAWA 4
Toronto dropped a 4-1 decision at the Corel Centre as the Ottawa Senators tied the best-of-seven series at two games apiece. Gary Roberts scored the lone Leafs goal assisted by Mats Sundin and Alexander Mogilny. Ed Belfour started in goal for Toronto and made 32 saves.

GAME THREE - TORONTO 2 at OTTAWA 0
Ed Belfour stopped 37 Ottawa shots, including 17 in the third period, to post his second shutout of the series and the 13th playoff shutout of his career. Joe Nieuwendyk opened the scoring for Toronto with his second goal of the playoffs, from Ron Francis at 1:30 of the second period. Mats Sundin added an insurance marker with an unassisted effort with 5:44 remaining in the third period.

GAME TWO - OTTAWA 0 at TORONTO 2
Ed Belfour registered his 12th career playoff shutout and first career playoff shutout as a Maple Leaf stopping all 31 shots to lead Toronto to victory. Gary Roberts scored two goals (including the game winning goal), while Mats Sundin registered two assists. Brian Leetch registered an assist in his second consecutive game.


GAME ONE - OTTAWA 4 at TORONTO 2
Ottawa drew first blood in the series as Marian Hossa scored two goals to lead the Senators to victory. Joe Nieuwendyk and Bryan McCabe each scored their first goal of the playoffs, while Alexei Ponikarovsky, Nik Antropov, Brian Leetch and Ron Francis each collected an assist. Ed Belfour started in goal for Toronto and made 26 saves.

DO OR DIE
Since the best-of-seven format was introduced in 1939, the Maple Leafs have played in 20 Game Sevens. The Leafs have a record of 11-9 (5-8 on the road and 6-1 at home). Toronto has a 5-4 record in Game Sevens since the 1993 playoffs (1-3 on the road and 4-1 at home).

SOARING EAGLE
Ed Belfour became just the 12th goaltender in NHL playoff history to register three shutouts in one playoff series with his third shutout April 16 vs. Ottawa. He also becomes just the fourth Toronto goaltender to accomplish the feat joining Frank McCool, Turk Broda and Felix Potvin.
