Wellwood to Have Surgery

(TORONTO) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday evening that forward Kyle Wellwood will undergo surgery for a sports hernia tomorrow.

Wellwood has not played since December 19. In 35 games this season he has recorded nine goals and 22 assists.
