Maple Leafs Announce 2007-08 Preseason Schedule

(TORONTO) -- The Toronto Maple Leafs announced their 2007-08 preseason schedule Tuesday, which features four games at Air Canada Centre, three on the road and one neutral site game. The Maple Leafs will host the Phoenix Coyotes, Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings. All eight games will be carried live on Leafs TV and AM 640 Toronto Radio.

The Maple Leafs will play eight preseason games beginning September 18 at Edmonton. The Boston Bruins and Red Wings will also host Toronto. The Maple Leafs will take on the Phoenix Coyotes at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, marking the team’s first appearance in Winnipeg since February 28, 1996. The team concludes its preseason schedule with a home-and-home series against Original Six rival, the Detroit Red Wings.

Beginning September 13, training camp will be held for the third consecutive year in Toronto at Ricoh Coliseum, home of the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
