Training camp officially opened Friday for me with the boys back on the ice at the Ricoh Coliseum.
A few changes and new faces have fueled the fire that this team will be much better than last season when they missed the playoffs by one point.
I sincerely hope they find a way to dodge the injury bug this year. The Leafs were among the highest man games lost to injury teams in the NHL.
When Tampa won the Stanley Cup a few years ago they were under 50 games lost to injury. They always say that injuries are not an excuse, well I beg to differ. If your team is together and healthy though out the season a lot of good things are going to happen.
Season # 25 for me this time around and I can’t wait. Come to think of it my bank manager can’t wait either!
