Maple Leafs Claim Dominic Moore Off Waivers
John Ferguson, vice-president and general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Friday that the club has claimed forward Dominic Moore off waivers from the Minnesota Wild. He will join the Leafs for their game in San Jose.

Moore, 27, played in 30 games for Minnesota this season collecting three points (one goal, two assists) with 10 penalty minutes.  He split the 2006-07 season between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Minnesota Wild, playing 69 games and collecting 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) with 56 penalty minutes.

The native of Thornhill, Ontario has played in 186 career NHL games for three teams including the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild. In his NHL career, he has collected 41 points (18 goals, 23 assists) with 94 penalty minutes. He was the New York Rangers second pick, 95th overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
