Leafs Sign Stajan To Two-Year Deal
Cliff Fletcher, general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Monday that the hockey club has signed restricted free agent forward Matt Stajan to a two-year contract.

Stajan, 24, was one of three players on the Maple Leafs this past season to play in all 82 regular season games. In 2007-08, the Mississauga, Ontario native scored a career-high 16 goals and added 17 assists, along with 47 penalty minutes. Over the past three seasons, he has led Toronto in games played with 244 and has skated in the past 174 consecutive contests. In 314 career games with the Maple Leafs, he has collected 127 points on 56 goals and 71 assists.

Stajan was Toronto’s second choice, 57th overall in the 2002 Entry Draft.
