Jiri Tlusty Assigned to Marlies

Toronto Maple Leafs
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Saturday that forward Jiri Tlusty has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.

The 6-foot, 209-pound native of Slany, Czech Republic has been held scoreless in seven games with the Maple Leafs this season, averaging 12:19 of ice time per game and registering 13 shots.

Tlusty will join the Marlies today and will be available for their game this afternoon at 4 p.m. against the Quad City Flames at Ricoh Coliseum.
