Not hard to figure that one. With 42.2 seconds left in four-on-four overtime, Josh Bailey rifled the puck past Jonas Gustavsson who had no chance.

The Leafs outshot the Islanders 61-21 and came within one shot on goal of setting a club record (since 1955-56). They rallied from a 3-0 deficit but still lost 4-3. One point never felt so bitter.

23 Shots in the third period for the Leafs which sets a new season high for a period.
4:17 Amount of ice-time for John Mitchell who left the game after the first with a knee injury.
64% The Leafs' domination in the face-off circle.
116 Number of shots the Leafs put towards the Islanders net.
28:13 Ice-time for Francois Beauchemin who led both teams.

No doubt about it: Dwayne Roloson who stopped 58 of 61 shots.

The game’s first star, Roloson still drew polite applause from Air Canada Centre patrons stunned by the outcome.

Roloson stopped 20 shots in the first, 14 in the second, 21 in the third and three in overtime.

Lee Stempniak had a strong game for the Blue and White on Monday. Since recording four points against Anaheim on October 26th Stempniak has been a steady performer for the Leafs.

Stempniak had an assist on Wayne Primeau's third period goal, he had eight shots, one hit, 20:39 of ice-time including 4:02 on the power play.

Heading into Monday's game, the Leafs averaged 33.5 shots a game which is the second most in the NHL. That trend continued in a huge way against the Islanders.

The Leafs' total on Rolson tied a team record (since 1955-56) for shots in a game which was first done on February 25, 1976 against the Red Wings in an 8-0 win.

Ron Wilson on the standout performance of Islanders netminder Dwayne Roloson:

"Rollie was unbelievable. He was a little lucky at times but he played great. What can you say? ... Rollie made some spectacular saves... This is what stealing a game is from a goaltender's point of view when he makes 59 or 60 saves whatever it happened to be (it was 58), that's when a goalie stole a point."
