In 39 games with the Marlies this season, Mueller has registered 20 points on seven goals and 13 assists, along with 34 penalty minutes and a plus one rating. The 6-3, 232-pound forward ranks third (tie) on the Marlies in assists and fifth (tie) in points. The Leafs originally signed the 22-year-old native of Berlin, Germany as a free agent on July 14, 2010.
Last season Mueller played 53 games for the Cologne Sharks of the German Elite League (DEL) and led the team in game-winning goals (6), power-play goals (8), assists (32) and penalty minutes (122), while ranking second in goals (24), shorthanded goals (4) and points (56).
Mueller has represented Germany at several international tournaments including the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the 2010 World Championships and the 2007 World Junior Championships.
