Leafs Rookie Tourney In Oshawa

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Global Spectrum Facility Management announced Monday the schedule for the 2011 Rookie Tournament. This year, the Maple Leafs prospects will compete in three games beginning Saturday, September 10 versus rookie teams from the Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks at General Motors Centre in Oshawa, Ontario.

The 2011 Rookie Tournament tickets go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10 am. Tickets can be purchased at the GM Centre Box Office, by phone at (877) 436-8811 or online at www.generalmotorscentre.com.  Ticket prices for the evening games are Adults -$18.50 and Child/Senior/Student - $13.50.  Afternoon game ticket prices are Adults - $16.00 and Child/Senior/Student - $11.00.

The Leafs entire Rookie Tournament roster will be announced at a later date. Players who participated in the 2010 rookie tournament and have been on the Maple Leafs roster this season include forwards Nazem Kadri and Marcel Mueller, defenceman Keith Aulie and goaltender Ben Scrivens
