Here is the full 2011-12 schedule
The Toronto Maple Leafs will open the 2011-12 season with a five-game home stand, beginning with the season opener on Thursday, October 6 against the Montreal Canadiens at Air Canada Centre.
The Maple Leafs will play a season-high 23 games on Saturday (15 at home and eight on the road). Toronto does not have any Friday or Sunday home games scheduled for the upcoming season.
The busiest month will be March as the Maple Leafs will play 15 games overall (seven home, eight away). The team will play a season-high nine home games in January, while the busiest road months will be November, December and March with eight road games, respectively. The Maple Leafs will also visit the Canadiens in Montreal in the season finale on April 7 at Montreal. Toronto will play the defending Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins six times, beginning with the first meeting in Boston on October 20.
The Maple Leafs will face-off against Winnipeg’s newly acquired NHL franchise four times this season. Winnipeg’s NHL team will visit the Air Canada Centre on October 19 and January 5, while the Maple Leafs will travel to Winnipeg for games on December 31 and February 7.
The NHL schedule matrix for 2011-12 will see the Maple Leafs play six games against divisional opponents (24 games in total), four games against each non-divisional conference team (40 games in total), and one game against each of the teams in the Western Conference’s Pacific and Central Divisions, as well as Colorado and Minnesota. The Maple Leafs will also face Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver once at home and once on the road. Toronto will face all 29 other NHL clubs on the schedule.
