The Toronto Maple Leafs announced their 2011-12 preseason schedule Thursday, which features four games at Air Canada Centre and four on the road. The Maple Leafs will play one home and one road game against four different opponents, including the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings.
The Leafs will play their eight-game preseason schedule over 13 days, starting at home on Monday, September 19 at 7 p.m. against the Senators at Air Canada Centre. Home-and-home series will take place against the Flyers, Sabres and Red Wings, and a second meeting with the Senators will be played in the nation’s capital. The Maple Leafs’ preseason schedule concludes Saturday, October 1 when they host the Red Wings at 7 p.m.
Toronto will open the regular season Thursday, October 6 at home against the Montreal Canadiens. Details regarding single-game tickets for preseason and regular season games will be released at a later date.
