The Maple Leafs are going to have a look at what they have.

Forty-two prospects from various elements of the organization will attend the team’s Prospect Camp, July 4-7 at the MasterCard Centre in Etobicoke.

Among the attendees will be the Leafs’ two first round selections, forward Tyler Biggs and defenceman Stuart Percy.

The players will practice and take in seminars on conditioning, education, media awareness, personal development and nutrition. The players will also visit the Toronto Police Academy.

On hand will be Jesse Blacker, a defenceman who graduated from the Owen Sound Attack and who will start with the Toronto Marlies. Jake Gardiner, a smooth-skating defenceman who came over in the deal that sent Francois Beauchemin to Anaheim, Erie Otter gunner Greg McKegg, Jerry D’Amigo, who played last season with the Kitchener Rangers and Brad Ross, a talented, pesky forward with Portland of the Western Hockey League.

Twenty-four forwards, 14 defencemen and four goalies will attend the event which will be coached by Leafs assistants Scott Gordon and Greg Cronin. Director of Player Development Jim Hughes will oversee the camp.
