Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Tuesday that the hockey club has recalled forward Joey Crabb from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. The Leafs also announced that forward Matt Frattin has been assigned to the Marlies.

Crabb, 28, has played nine games for the Toronto Marlies this season, recording 15 points on seven goals and eight assists, along with seven penalty minutes and a plus-six (+6) rating. Last season he played 48 games for the Leafs collecting 15 points (three goals, 12 assists) with 24 penalty minutes.

Frattin, 23, has played 11 regular season games for the Maple Leafs, collecting one assist and six penalty minutes. The 6-0, 200-pound native of Edmonton, Alberta registered his first career NHL point, an assist, October 24 at Philadelphia.

The Toronto Marlies will continue their nine-game road trip on Thursday, November 3 when they visit the Texas Stars. The Marlies next home game will take place on Saturday, November 19 at 3 p.m. when they host the Rochester Americans at Ricoh Coliseum. Tickets for Marlies home games this season start at only $10.
