Leafs To Practice Outdoors Today

The Toronto Maple Leafs, Rona and Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation will unveil upgrades and refurbishments made to Sunnydale Outdoor Rink as part of their Refurbishment Legacy Program. In recognition of the program, the Leafs will hold an outdoor practice and community celebration at Sunnydale Outdoor Rink.
The MLSE Team Up Foundation invested over $150,000 to upgrade the rink, providing the Rexdale community with state-of-the-art dasher boards that are lightweight for easy removal during the summer and include a UVA coating preventing the winter sun from affecting ice quality, extending the skating season.
