Maple Leafs Recall Joe Colborne
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Monday that centreman Joe Colborne has been recalled on an emergency basis from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL). Forward Mikhail Grabovski sustained a leg laceration in the third period of Saturday’s game and is listed as day-to-day.

Colborne, 22, has 16 goals and 21 assists in 60 AHL games with the Marlies in 2011-12. In nine earlier games with the Maple Leafs this season he collected one goal and three assists. His goal, the first of his NHL career, came against Dwayne Roloson in the Leafs’ 7-1 win at Tampa Bay on November 22, 2011.
