Leafs Recall John-Michael Liles

David Nonis, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Friday the hockey club has recalled defenceman John-Michael Liles from the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies.

Liles has played 16 games for the Marlies this season registering three goals, 10 assists and 13 points along with 14 penalty minutes. He ranks first on the team in plus/minus (+9-tie), second in powerplay goals (3-tie) and third in assists and points. Liles was recalled by the Leafs once already this season on October 28, but did not play in any games.

The Toronto Marlies next game takes place on Saturday, December 7 when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs at Ricoh Coliseum. Game time is 5 p.m. For all Marlies ticket information, please call 416-597-PUCK (7825) or visit
