Leafs Announce 2014-15 Regular Season Schedule
The Toronto Maple Leafs will host Eastern Conference division rival Montreal Canadiens at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, October 8 to open their 2014-15 regular season

The Toronto Maple Leafs will host Eastern Conference division rival Montreal Canadiens at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, October 8 to open their 2014-15 regular season. It will be the first of four overall meetings against Montreal and it’s the sixth consecutive season that the Canadiens will be the Leafs’ opponent on Opening Night.

All 30 teams will again play in all 30 arenas at least once during the season. The Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings will visit Toronto for the only time on Sunday, December 14. The Leafs will play each Western Conference team once at home and once on the road in 2014-15.

Saturday night games once again dominate the Leafs schedule with Toronto playing 24 times on Saturday (14 at home and 10 on the road).

The busiest month for the club is December and March as the team will play 15 games overall in each month. The busiest home month is also December and March plus November with eight games while the busiest road month will be in January with nine games. The Leafs will close out the regular season schedule by hosting Montreal again on Saturday, April 11. The team will also play eight preseason games from September 22 to October 3.

Radio and television broadcast information, along with single game ticket availability for the 2014-15 season, will be available at a later date.

Other Schedule Notes:

• The longest road stretch occurs from December 21 to January 3 (seven games). The most recent stretch of having seven straight away from Air Canada Centre occurred during the 2007-08 campaign.

• The longest home stand is five games (November 29 to December 9).

• The Leafs will play on consecutive nights on 18 occasions.

• The Leafs will have at least one home game on each day of the week in 2014-15 for the second time in as many seasons.
