Leafs Dreams helps children, who wouldn't otherwise have the means, to fulfill artistic potential. GTA who are aspiring artists, dancers, actors and musicians, but are unable to pursue their area of interest due to financial constraint. A collaboration between the Ontario Arts Foundation and the MLSE Team Up Foundation, Leafs Dreams works with the Toronto District School Board and the Toronto Catholic District School Board to identify candidates who already show passion and commitment to the arts. Many former Leafs Dreamers have now entered post-secondary education and are actively pursuing careers in the arts by attending, for example, piano performance at the University of Toronto, dance at Ryerson university and graphic design at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Others have attended summer workshops in places like the Stratford Festival. Leafs Dreams is supported by a portion of the Leafs 50/50 Draw Program.
