Although the Maple Leafs didn't have a first round pick, Brian Burke still was pleased with the seven players that the Leafs selected on Saturday and also the acquisition of forward Mike Brown from Anaheim who he expects to be in the lineup next fall.

The Maple Leafs kept busy in the later part of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday, as they have officially selected Bradley Ross, Greg McKegg, Sondre Olden, Petter Granberg, Sam Carrick, Daniel Brodin and Josh Nicholls.

The Leafs acquired a 2nd round pick from the Chicago Blackhawks in a trade and selected the WHL's Portland Winterhawks' Bradley Ross. The deal involved sending prospect Jimmy Hayes to the Chicago Blackhawks.
