With Toronto this season, posted a 7-12-2 record with one shutout, a 3.66 GAA and .874 SV% in 26 appearances … missed five games (Oct. 13-28) due to knee injury … stopped 31-of-32 shots for his first win of the season, Nov. 21 vs. WSH … missed four games (Nov. 25-Dec. 1) due to a groin injury … registered four consecutive wins at HOME, Dec. 7-14, stopping 108-of-117 shots for a .923 SV% and 2.25 GAA …posted his first shutout of the season (13th career) making 38 saves on Jan. 14 vs. PHI … Last game: Stopped 31-of-35 shots in a 4-1 loss, Jan. 30 w/TOR vs. VAN … won his first game as a Flame stopping 27 shots in MIN on Mar.7 ... came in for the final two periods and stopped all eight shots he faced on Mar.14 ... won his second consecutive start on Mar.17 making 32 saves
2008-09 REGULAR SEASON
- Will miss the remainder of the season due to injury

- Recorded first shutout of season (32 saves) despite 1-0 shootout loss on Oct. 17 and became first Leaf goaltender in over 43 years, and first at current Madison Square Garden, to record shutout against Rangers in New York (Johnny Bower, Jan. 10, 1965 at former MSG)
- Became first Leaf netminder period (home or away) to shutout Rangers since 1967 (Johnny Bower, Feb. 15, 1967 at Maple Leaf Gardens) and first Leaf goaltender ever to record a shutout despite suffering a shootout loss
