Leafs Begin Home-And-Home With Wings
The Maple Leafs continue preseason action Friday as they face the Red Wings in the Motor City
(7:30 p.m., Leafs TV, mapleleafs.com AM640).
With the regular season opener just a week away, players will be looking to make one final impression on head coach Ron Wilson and general manager Brian Burke.
Jonas Gustavsson is expected to see his pre-season action after undergoing a minor procedure to correct an electrical problem in his heart last week. Ron Wilson mentioned after practice Thursday that the goalie will play a period on Friday and two periods in the return match at Air Canada Centre.
